COUNSELING SERVICES

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

I offer telehealth counseling to individuals that is confidential, compassionate, and based on the most recent research in treatments. I start by getting to know you and hearing your story. I will ask you questions about your current issues and your history to get a better idea of what you are dealing with and what approach will best fit your situation. This process is collaborative. You know yourself and your circumstances better than anyone. We will work together to set goals for therapy. Change is possible. I am here to help. Common issues:

Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Depression, Chronic Stress, Burnout, Trauma Debriefing, Relational Stress, Work-Related Stress, Identity, Sexual Orientation Questions, Gender Identity Questions, Doubts about Faith, Grief, Career Direction, Pornography Addiction

COUPLES

The couple relationship can be a great source of joy, but can also bring about a lot of pain and be lonely. My approach is systems-based, looking at all areas of the couple and family life that could be contributing to the problems. It is also directive and solution-focused. I would love to help with any of these common issues or any others you may be facing:

Communication, Lack of Intimacy, Conflict, Grief/Loss, Infidelity, Fertility Journey, Contemplating Divorce, Sexual Dissatisfaction or Dysfunction, Life Stage Transitions

TELEHEALTH

All sessions are provided through a HIPPA-compliant video conferencing platform. While telehealth can be an effective solution for many mental health concerns, I do not recommend it for clients who are actively suicidal, for small children, for adults with reduced mental capacities, or clients experiencing active psychosis. For problems requiring medication, we will need to discuss the possibility of finding a general practitioner or psychiatrist in your area before continuing treatment. Contact me to set up a free 15-minute consultation to find out if telehealth will be a good fit for you.
